Stewardship
The health and safety of the river is important to us.
That's why we work with our neighbors to mark and share information
about hazards in the river that are not visible from the surface, and
provide assistance for disabled boats.
That's why we pitch in and clean up whenever there's a need.
And that's why we're partnering with local organizations whose members also care for the river, so we can work together
on restoration projects.
Restoration Projects
93 West is proud of our clean-up efforts.
We partnered with Norristown municipal officials and the Valley Forge Watershed Association to purchase a harvester machine and clear underwater weed overgrowth that was threatening to alter the ecosystem and make the river unusable.

After several storms, we also cleaned up 93 West, rebuilt the cabana, and restored the property to an even better condition. And, we pitched in to help neighbors remove hazard trees that fell into the river.

Now, we are joining with our river partners so we can champion more caretaking projects.
